CALIXAR announces the publication of a new article in collaboration with P. FALSON and A. BOUMENDJEL’s laboratory (Boumendjel A et al., 2017, Angewandte Chemie).

New class of innovative detergents was designed and synthetized to tackle the problem of membrane proteins (MPs) instability. CALIXAR contribution consisted in demonstrating overstabilization effect on unmutated adenosine receptor as well as ABC transporters BmrA (20 to 29°C and 13 to 21°C, respectively). Such molecules show functional conservation and positive impact on crystallization of membrane proteins.
