Fer, active
N-terminal 6His-tagged recombinant, human Fer amino acids 541-end.
Biological information
Background
FER (TYK3) is a nuclear and cytoplasmic nonreceptor tyrosine kinase and able to affect transcription in the nucleus. FER is expressed predominantly in mature hematopoietic cells of the granulocytic and monocytic lineage, implicated in the regulation of myeloid differentiation. Inhibition of FER may be of benefit for the treatment of myeloid and prostate cancer as well as angiogenesis.
